Join the Renew Oregon coalition for a statewide day of action. It's time for Forest Grove to mobilize to pass the Clean Energy Jobs bill in 2018!

Clean Energy Jobs is a policy to cap and price climate pollution and reinvest proceeds into Oregon’s clean energy economy. It would raise $700 million per year to be invested to benefit communities across our state, create good-paying jobs, and save people money on energy. Proceeds will go to making clean energy, like solar, more affordable and improving energy efficiency in homes and businesses, building affordable housing near transit, and investing in more transportation options.

The Clean Energy Jobs bill is coming out of the 2017 legislative session with 33 co-sponsors, Governor Kate Brown recently endorsed passing the Clean Energy Jobs bill in 2018, and House leadership is calling the bill “unfinished business for 2018.” The bill is supported by our very own Representative, Susan McLain, and Forest Grove Mayor Pete Truax. Statewide momentum for Clean Energy Jobs is building.

THIS IS NOT A FUNDRAISER. This is an opportunity to energize the community on the importance of acting on climate, and share the exciting ways we can work together to pass historic climate legislation in Oregon.
