On March 24th, OLCV and the Oregon Conservation Network holds its lobby day – dozens of Oregonians representing over 40 organizations gathering at the Capitol to raise our voices in support of Oregon’s natural legacy. This session, we will advocate for bills that address climate change, conserve crucial habitat, and protect the public health. Can you join our Clean Green Lobby Machine?
OLCV's Lobby Day is an annual event where OLCV members take the Capitol in an effort to show just how engaged our robust, growing environmental community is with the Oregon Legislature's decision making.
OLCV members and staff will spend a day meeting with our leadership in Salem to discuss the conservation priorities that are most important to us. Our program starts with remarks from kickoff speaker Oregon TreasurerTed Wheeler. We will also provide training on how to effectively discuss our environmental priorities and the best practices for lobbying your legislators to protect the environment. Lunch will be provided.
We will meet in the morning at Willamette University in the Montag Den, then in the afternoon at the Oregon State Capitol Building in Salem, Oregon. Please RSVP at olcv.org by Thursday, March 19th.
