EMO’s Oregon Interfaith Power & Light project, in collaboration with Renew Oregon, invites you to a free legislative workshop in your corner of Oregon that will give you and your faith community tools to advocate for strong climate policies at the state level. Featuring The Rev. John Pitney of the United Methodist Church, lifelong food and climate activist, and Britt Conroy, EMO’s Public Policy Director, you will learn about and act on climate-friendly policies for transportation and carbon pricing going through the Oregon Legislature this year, and gather long-term tools to engage in faithful and effective climate advocacy. All are welcome to attend! An RSVP is kindly requested but not required at tinyurl.com/zymtd9r, where you can also sign up to volunteer or receive help with transportation if available. With further questions, please contact Public Policy Director Britt Conroy at bconroy@emoregon.org.
